Math and STEAM Classroom in Need of Apple TV

About This Project

Need: Apple TV for the classroom to connect the teacher iPad to the presentation televisions in the classroom wirelessly. I teach middle school and high school Math, STEAM, logical reasoning and cryptology, and engineering explorations. In my classes, it would be advantageous to have the ability to cast to the classroom TV: documents, class notes, homework questions, Desmos interactive geometry tools, graphing software, and our textbook and curriculum resources. I would like to be able to annotate these clearly on the iPad and have them up on-screen for the students. Although some of this can be accomplished on a traditional whiteboard or on a computer tethered to the screen at the front of the room, with a wireless connection, I can walk around the room during instructional time, engaging students, and giving them a way to participate on-screen as well. The addition of an Apple TV to the classroom will promote an interactive learning environment and make meaningful and efficient use of the limited time I have in the classroom with my students.
