About This Project

Learning to read is one of the most important skills we practice in 1st Grade. Reading is ultimately so important because this is the skill that gives people access to seeking and understanding God's word in the Bible for themselves. Being a part of a school that shares space with a church, means we need to be creative about how we provide classroom libraries to our students. We do that by using rolling book carts as our classroom libraries. As teachers we use the book carts to roll the libraries from our storage into our classrooms, and last year mine finally collapsed from so much use over the years!! I need your help so I can continue to teach reading with full access to our classroom library.
